“Bitch Is The New Black”

I kept seeing on the news SNL was looking for an actor to play Obama and Saturday’s show would be the first one since the writers are back from the strike.

Wow, did anyone see it last night?

Tina Fey has fired up the political forums and blogs with her comedy skit, “Bitch is the New Black.” Finally I saw something good about Hillary on tv. Yes, good.

About fucking time.

I stole this last part of Fey’s monologue on Weekend Update from Uncle Wiggly.

Tina Fey: I want to say something about those calling Hillary a bitch…
Yeah, well she is…

So am I, so is she (pointing at Weekend Update news host Amy Poehler)

Deal with it. Bitches get stuff DONE! (Amy says yeah and starts nodding her head in rhythmn and saying more yeahs, uh huhs and a you go girl)

Like back in grammar school, they could have had priests teaching you but no, they had tough old nuns who slept on cots and who can hit ya and you HATE those bitches.

But at the end of the school year you sure KNEW the capital of Vermont!

So COME ON Texas and Ohio

Get on board, it’s not too late!…

Bitch is the new Black!

Found it:

Watch Bitch is the New Black on NBC’s website

And here is their spoof of the democratic debate showing the obvious media bias toward Obama.

  2. She definitely has my vote, and I am a republican. Barack does not as I don’t think he is ready. But it was interesting to watch Oprah about 6 months or so ago when Ellen was on Oprah’s show. Oprah, with an overbearing tone asked Ellen, wasn’t Ellen fired up about Obama. And Ellen was definitely uncomfortable to be backed into a corner like that on tv. That was the first I ever saw Oprah throwing her weight around. And ir wasn’t a pleasant sight.

    Oh, and THANK YOU Tina!

  3. I stopped watching the cable news networks a few years ago once it became overun with Sean Hannity and Oreilly clones. I did not realize the media was so biased for Obama but I get my news online. I have based my

  4. Well I don’t watch it, I monitor it.

This is a great time to stump for media reform:

Go to http://www.freepress.net if you are fed up with msm media bias.

Also beware of progressive websites such as Huffington Post (Arianna Huffington was a republican until just a few years ago (also an open Hillary-hater), I have always questioned her MO but it is clear now as her site always has positive Obama headlines. Never once did I see anything positive there when there were great things to report about Hillary.

DailyKos also, that guy was a republican. His site is overrun with Hillary-hate and outright sexim.

MoveOn.org has bombarded my email box with negative Hillary mail. They will never get another penny from me.

That is not progressive, it is regressive and it is damaging and dividing our party.

Still, I’d vote for Obama if he were the nomimee. But Hillary is my first choice. I will vote for her.

  5. Anyway I have based who I am voting for in March on electability. In my opinion Obama and Clinton have the same ideals and I’d vote for either but Obama polls significantly higher against Mcain from multiple sources. Don’t believe me? http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/national.html

A good president surrounds themselves with well seasoned politicians and I don’t see experience as an issue. Obama is charismatic and likeable and I believe he’s the better person to bring the country together.

Funny clips though, I may be blind but I didn’t see any bias in the real debate…

  6. I think much of the Obama support as sort of an infatuation. Like America is in a mid-life crisis, going after this virginal politician. We are desperate to hear a candidate speak openly about things that have been pretty much underground. I have been part of the progressive movement for 8 years, I know what I’m talking about. I’ve also had an open mind to both candidates and since I saw Obama early on, I’ve had the time to “get over him.”

Thing is, that stuff gets old fast. Especially when you find out he has taken loads of money from the Clintons, he has lobbied the superdelegates, and really he is a creation of the msm which will no doubt turn on him when the time is right (republican policies are favorable to media consolidation which is what the msm wants).

  7. I was watching it and almost fell on the floor! SNL isn’t as funny as it used to be but I figured Tina Fey just after the strike was over…….had high hopes and it was a really great show. Lots of Twitter folks were online and “Bitch is the new Black” was all over the place! I’ve voted for “loosers” in the last two elections and wound up with my least choice of all. Black or bitch just give me one of them! It’s really difficult to tell them apart if go by sound bites alone. I can’t bare the thought of republican, Mcain running smear ads to Obama this country really does not need that!

  8. Like the majority of voting Americans, I’m voting for change in November. McCain and Clinton don’t represent change in my view. They represent status quo, bought and paid for senators who have ties so close to lobbyists that no matter what decision they might face in the Oval Office they won’t be able to wipe themselves without a phone call first. Obama has the fewest strings attached to his limbs and the ability (I hope) to still identify differences between dawn and dusk, right and wrong, and morality from depravity when holding the highest office in the land.

  9. Jen, they won’t run smear ads on Obama for being black, they will go with the whisper campaign that he is an islamic terrorist. They’re already doing it and blaming it on Hillary.
McCain push polled my house just a few days ago. All I remember is this scary choice on what is important to me and one of the selections being something about terrorists coming to America if we end the war.

AJ, Spanky says you are belligerent.

Daily, my blog supports the democratic party. I voted for Hillary today. I’ll vote for her again. I will vote for her or Obama in the general election.
Do not come to my blog and bash Hillary, there is enough of that on the MSNBC blog, why don’t you go there and join them or just do that at your own place.

  10. Kitty – “don’t come to my blog and bash Hillary” So you don’t believe in free speach or allowing others to have an opinion? Hillary wants to be the dictator in a socialist world – is that what you really want? Just cause she’s female don’t make her right.
